This Can't Be Good: Jacksonville's Oracles spotted chanting incantations to awaken the Duval Defenders
The mystical figures charged with defending the city were spotted trying to awaken the two most powerful titans in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville, FL — After decades in the shadows, the Jacksonville Oracles have been spotted chanting incantations that have historically been used to awaken the two most powerful titans in Jacksonville; Rex the dinosaur, and Andrew Jackson on his horse.
"They lie beneath, they watch above. You must not show them love" was among the chants we heard.
The two statues have not been awakened since they were called up to repel an invasion of giant squid in Neptune Beach back in the 80's.
The Jacksonville council of Oracles was established in 1889 by Council President D. U. Fletcher. They originally existed to ascertain the guilt or innocence of arrestees, however they became the city's defenders in 1901 after their attempts to warn city officials of a dragon were ignored and the city was burned.
