Tallahassee, FL — After Tuesday's NYC election, Florida's legislature convened an emergency session to repeal the state's recently implemented weather modification ban.
House Speaker Daniel Perez said the emergency measure was needed to protect the state from an influx of New Yorkers.
"We have no intention of allowing our state to be turned into a duplicate of New York" said Senate President Ben Albritton.
Governor Ron Desantis signed the legislation at 3am at a Tallahassee Waffle House.
"Look, this law was a mistake, now we're fixing it. I'm now ordering the National Guard to go out and dump as much silver iodide as possible into the clouds. We are about to be invaded. When they kick me out of this Waffle House, we'll know the state is safe."
