BREAKING: Governor Desantis prepares state border ahead of NYC mayoral election.

Yulee, FL — Ahead of the November 4th New York City mayoral election, Florida Governor Ron Desantis has deployed resources to secure Florida's border.

"Look, I want new people to come to Florida as much as anyone, especially conservatives put off by the possibility of a Mamdani victory; but there needs to be some common sense interstate immigration controls."

Citing his duty to not only protect the state, but its culture as well, the Governor has temporarily placed Secretary of State Cord Byrd in charge of interstate immigration enforcement.

Secretary Byrd spoke to the press:

"We're not going to discriminate against anyone just because they're from New York. We WILL, however, be inspecting every vehicle for signs of cultural incompatibility."

The list of culturally incompatible contraband provided by Secretary Byrd includes, but is not limited to:

• Bodega food.
• Clean Timberland boots.
• The "progress" pride flag (plain rainbow flags conditionally accepted.)
• Any New York State issued CDL.
• Aggressively repeating "I'm from New York" when angered.
