BREAKING: Jacksonville City council punts on declaration of war against the Duval Tribune

Jacksonville, FL — After an outpouring of community opposition, the Jacksonville City Council tabled a declaration of war against The Duval Tribune. Our editorial staff has the following to say: We are outraged that the City Council would align themselves with Jacksonville's axis powers like the Florida Times-Union, the Jacksonville Business Journal, the Florida Star, Jacksonville Free Press, the Tributary, Folio Weekly, Jacksonville Today, and the Financial News and Daily Record in a declaration of war against the Duval Tribune. For over two centuries, we have committed ourselves to keeping the people of Jacksonville informed, from the day we photographed Hanz Tanzler stealing the city limits sign, to today's investigative report on the contents of Council President Carrico's center console. We will monitor the situation, but we will not back down should the council make the FOOLISH decision to approve this war declaration.
