Carlucci cleared to run for City Council Vice-President after Ethics Commission rules nepotism law doesn't apply to "offices no one gives a shit about."

Jacksonville, FL — City Councilman Joe Carlucci has been cleared to run for a council leadership position after the state Ethics Commission ruled that the state's anti-nepotism law only applies to important offices.
In their 7-1 decision, the commission wrote:
"Bro, did you really think we wanted to hear 50 minutes of oral arguments from some lame, chud ass lawyer over a CITY COUNCIL leadership position? Nepotism laws are for important offices, not offices that no one gives a shit about. This could've been a 10 second phone call."
The dissenting vote wrote a separate opinion, but the commission declined to publish it because "he needs to shut the fuck up."
