Chaos in City Hall after Deegan accidentally gives CAO Mike Weinstein clothing, setting him free

Jacksonville, FL — City officials have launched an investigation into who placed a sock in a book that was handed to now-former Chief Administrative Officer Mike Weinstein by Mayor Donna Deegan.

The act of Deegan providing Weinstein with an article of clothing immediately freed him from his life of servitude.

Weinstein was seen teleporting from City Hall immediately after becoming free.

The Mayor's office has issued the following statement:

"While the mayor would never hold anyone against their will.. the Chief Administrative Officer does still have a contract to fulfill, and should he refuse to return, dementors will be sent to retrieve him."
