Civil Rights in action: Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters honors the legacy of Justice Thurgood Marshall by wearing his glasses.

Jacksonville, FL — On the weekend before the nation commemorates Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday, we sat down with Jacksonville Sheriff Waters to talk about how he pays homage to another late civil rights icon: "I find that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I've always sort of looked up to Justice Marshall, so when I was presented the opportunity to grab his glasses from the Smithsonian while no one was looking, I did just that. Now, these glasses serve as a daily reminder of the legacy of Justice Marshall, as well as a reminder of why I'm not allowed back in Washington DC."
