Corinne Brown demands State Rep. Kiyan Michael return "Victory wig" loaned to her in 2022

Jacksonville, FL — Former Congresswoman Corinne Brown has demanded that State Representative Kiyan Michael return her "victory wig" that she loaned her back in 2022 ahead of Michael's first electoral win.
"Look I gave that girl my darn wig 4 years ago and cost myself a win, now it's time for her to give it back. I still got one more run in me and I'm not gonna lose because she won't give me back MY wig."
Representative Michael responded to the former congresswoman's demand with the following statement:
"I have tremendous gratitude for everything that Congresswoman Brown has done for both the community and for me, but no. The wig was GIFTED to me, there was no indication that it was intended to be a loan. If she wants to use the wig to win an election, I'll gladly let her wear it in 2023, or after I've been term-limited, but I'm not losing, not this year."
