Jacksonville, FL — A public records request by Duval Tribune reporters into data from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office fashion division has revealed an extensive rap sheet for Duval County's top cop.
Sheriff Waters spoke to reporters outside of the Police Memorial building:
"Look, I can take accountability for my actions; these are noncriminal infractions and I've paid every penny I owed in fines. I actually applaud our fashion officers for doing their job without bias. Sometimes, I spend a day out muddin' with the boys and I'll go to Publix without changing out of my overalls and Gucci belt first, I own that, and I've adjusted my muddin' day routine accordingly."
At press time, the sheriff was wearing socks and slides with his uniform and was issued another citation.
