Jacksonville, FL — Hundreds of local building projects have been delayed as the holographic effigy of Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan located at Jacksonville International Airport has seen a spike in traffic from contractors.
"Look, I don't mind getting my permits from the damned thing, but I don't want to stand in line for 3 hours because some jackass is arguing with it because he wants to go by the 2008 NEC, they need to bring in like 4 more of these" said Robert Chargeman, a local electric contractor.
Airport staff have also complained about the large number of contractors and developers at the airport: "at first it was fine, but now the place is littered with white monster cans and the bathrooms have to be cleaned every 45 minutes. I wish they'd just bring in more of the holograms to hurry up and get them out of here."
