Jacksonville, FL — Jacksonville's Parks department has issued new guidance for parents of children using the new slides at several city parks.
"Due to the closed top, reverse sear design of the new slides, you want to send the kids through it twice; they're designed to cook children more thoroughly, as opposed to the old, open-faced metal slides that focused strictly on achieving the best crust while sacrificing a uniform internal temperature" said Parks director Daryl Joseph.
