JEA CEO Hires Palatka City Manager to create slightly less toxic work environment.

Jacksonville, FL — After bombshell testimony revealing claims of a hostile work environment among top JEA employees and CEO Vickie Cavey, the JEA CEO has announced she has hired Palatka City Manager Marcia Carty to turn around the culture at the utility.

"I've heard the complaints about my leadership style, and I'm looking to make changes. I've just learned that I created a culture of fear and intimidation at JEA, and I'm looking to turn that around; effective immediately, with assistance from Ms. Carty, we will shift from a culture of fear and intimidation to a culture of race, age, and looks-based harassment."
