JEA unanimously votes in favor of new $5,000 "do you want power or not?" fee.
The vote comes after their recent imposition of a one-time special "fuck you" fee.

Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Electric Authority board of directors unanimously voted to impose an annual $5,000 "do you want power or not" fee.
Citing the fact that "they literally won't do shit about it," CEO and managing director Vickie Cavey asked the board to implement the fee.
Residents who opposed to the fee and showed up to the meeting to speak out against it were openly laughed at by board members.
Local resident Devin Jackson spoke at the meeting: "I just don't see how this is fair. I have 3 children to take care of a-"
His speech was interrupted as one of the board members stepped down from the dias with a gun, demanding all the money in his pockets.
Duval Tribune reporter Nick Harding was given an opportunity to briefly interview board chairman Joseph DiSalvo.
Harding: This isn't a small fee, how do you expect average residents to pay it?
DiSalvo: They can try not being poor.
Harding: What will the revenue from the fee be used for?
DiSalvo: What are you, a cop? This interview is over.
