Tallahassee, FL — Following an announcement from President Donald Trump that Attorney General Pam Bondi is being removed from her role in Washington, Florida Governor Ron Desantis declared a state of emergency.

"Look, the stakes here are high, all we're asking is that you keep your voices down and turn off the lights so she thinks the state is empty. We didn't do the lockdown thing in 2020, but this is different, anyone who doesn't comply will be prosecuted, because we can actually manage to do that here."
