It's official: Randy White presents election officials ahead of Tax Collector run

Jacksonville, FL — Former Council President Randy White finalized his candidacy for Tax Collector this morning by submitting his birth certificate to election officials.

"I try to get my documents in early because they have to call in an archaeologist to verify my birth certificate every time, I just want to give them time to do their jobs" said the ???? year-old White.

Election Supervisor Jerry Holland thanked White for being considerate:

"We really do appreciate him coming in with this document early, it gives us time to consult with an ancient language specialist to ensure the birth certificate is the original and not a copy or forgery."

At press time, Supervisor Of Elections staff were calling a crane operator to retrieve White's long-form certificate from the back of his pickup truck, as the one he brought in was the wallet-sized version.
