Salem furious after skipping council buffet, receiving Birthday wishes, but no cake.

Jacksonville, FL — Tonight at the Jacksonville City council meeting, Councilman Ron Salem expressed displeasure and frustration at his colleagues after he skipped his normal council meal, but didn't receive a birthday cake from the other council members.

"I'm wasting away over here and you ingrates haven't produced a cake, a cupcake, hell, even a cake pop. I don't know what's going on with you people, but birthdays used to mean something on this council."

At press time, Salem was seen eating a Snickers bar.
