Fiscal Responsibility: Duval School Board unanimously votes to move HQ to single-wide trailer.
The district will pay $74,995 for the facility.

Jacksonville, FL — The Duval County School Board has unanimously voted to move the district's main office from their headquarters on the St. John's River to a single-wide trailer on Jacksonville's Westside.
We spoke to board chair, Charlotte Joyce about the decision:
"Well, we're trying to save money, we've got an impending budget defecit, and we found this place for cheap. It'll be real nice when we fix it up; Tony, Reggie, and Darryl are gonna paint the sign on the side for us and put new carpet in; Myself, April, Melody, and Cindy are gonna go to the thrift store and find a couple nice desks to put in there. It's gonna be real nice."
Superintendent Bernier had this to say: "I'm so grateful that the board was able to come together to get this pushed through, but I really gotta go, they asked me to run to Home Depot to grab a sawzall and some plexiglass, we're putting in a skylight for the staff. It's gonna be real nice."
At press time, the board members and superintendent were all admiring the new facility and passing around a pack of 305 menthols.
