Community calls for DCPS superintendent's resignation after he transformed into a werewolf during a board meeting

Jacksonville, FL— Community activists are calling for the Duval County School Board to remove superintendent Dr. Christopher Bernier after he transformed into a werewolf during their October 7th meeting and had to be caged by Duval School police.

Activists attending the meeting intending to express support for local teacher Hope McMath shifted their outrage to Dr. Bernier's transformation and subsequent caging.

"How long have you been hiding this from us? This man... This THING is a danger to our children!" Said Stephen Draper, a parent of a student at San Jose elementary school.

Some activists were less concerned about his transformation, instead they expressed their outrage at his caging.

"That cage is WAY too small! He's clearly uncomfortable in there," said Sarah Jameson, a retired art teacher.

Chairwoman Charlotte Joyce assured the community that the superintendent was not a threat to anyone "look, I know you're all very passionate, and I appreciate that. However, Dr. Bernier is not a danger to any of you or any students in Duval Schools. He is a well-respected educator, he made us an A district, and his diet primarily consists of fish, birds, and rodents."

At press time, the Duval Tribune asked Dr. Bernier whether he thought it was appropriate to hide his condition from the public, however, he began chasing a pigeon before he could answer.
